A few years back I wanted to send free text messages in Jamaica for my personal use. I decided to write a simple program that would allow me to do this via email, which was the beginning of 876sms.com 1.0

I realized that some of my friends and families wanted to use the service as well so I decided to build a web application that would make this service available to everyone. So what began as a simple personal program evolved into a website to send free text messages that everyone can use.
